Dear Friends,
Thank you to all of the many people that auditioned for The Prince of Egypt. We auditioned upward to 131 people. We had to cut people this year. Basically we accepted people based on their strength of vocal and dance abilities. We also only casted people 5 years of age and above as that is commensurate with the show’s requirements. That being said, families that are in the show and their children not casted are welcome to bring their children to rehearsal and the theatre family will help to babysit them so older siblings and parents can perform.
We are excited by the amazing talents of the people in the cast and can’t wait to begin! The first rehearsal will be Monday, December 29 from 6:30 - 9pm in the HIGH school band room. Please park in the football field parking lot and enter on the west side of the building by the band room. Please enter from the door next to the band room. That is the only door that will be open for all rehearsals.
Materials will be available at that time. There will be a $25 security deposit on all scripts. If you write us a check we will not cash it unless you do not return your script. Cash is accepted and repaid when the script is returned. You may write in PENCIL on your scripts, but they must be erased before return. A complete schedule will be posted on our website by the middle of December if not before.
