02/19/2024 — Cinderella Post Show

It is unbelievable that we are all done with Cinderella.  It feels like just yesterday we were casting and starting practices.  Everyone did such an amazing job and I could not be more proud of what an amazing job everyone did.  I was only able to watch one performance from beginning to end, but I stood in the entryway for the rest of the performances during the wedding/bows.  I will be the first to admit that as I watched I found myself with tears running down my face.  They were tears of joy and happiness because of the incredible work everyone did.  Here is a quote from an email that I received today.

"Last night my wife and I greatly enjoyed our third viewing of Cinderella, and continue to be amazed that the multitude of moving pieces come together so perfectly.  From the youngest mouse to the most seasoned actor, everyone has mastered their part."

You are my community and I am proud to say so, now onto some business.

Cast Party
The cast party is this Sunday, February 25th, 12:30pm @ Sparta Middle School.  We will be providing sandwiches from Jimmy Johns (they will be plain), and we will have gluten free options for those that requested gluten free.  We ask that you brings, snacks, desserts & beverages.
We will be having a few games for people to play and with any good luck karaoke.
Video Recordings
Once I have the files back from Kyle, I will make the links available to you.  There will be a follow up email with that information.
Some final numbers for everyone.  We ended up having 2200 people come and see the show and there were approximately 120 people involved in the show, on stage, in the orchestra, on the stage crew, part of tech crew, our set builders, costumers and staff.  It is a huge amount of people that builds this community.
It took longer than I expected, but you guys finally decided to use the check-in iPad for fun.  You guys left me some amazing photos and I am going share a few of them here.

I hope everyone had an amazing time this year, and we will look forward to seeing you next year.  Come support our middle school thespians, March 7 - 9, while they perform "Lucky Hudson and the 12th Street Gang", and then our high schooler, April 18-20,while they perform "Seussical".  Details can be found on our website, spartatheatre.org

As always if you have questions, feel free to ask me.
